I’ve had this domain registered for, I think, 8 years now. I have used it the entire time as a personal site. Sometimes it’s gotten more hits than others…it’s been through some not so great times, and some wonderful times.
Yes, I’m talking about the website like it’s a person. Shut it.
The domain itself has some bad memories, and so I left it for Blogger for a while. But I missed the freedom that using your own domain gives, so I’m back now.
Using WordPress instead of Greymatter now, and I really do like WordPress. I tried to do a layout totally on my own, but discovered that I completely blow when it comes to PHP. I found this theme through reading SmallNotebook.org, and it suited my needs quite well. Made a header graphic, and away we go.
I am going to try my hardest to really make an effort to make this blog a success. When I say success, I mean actually USE the blog as an outlet. Whether it’s to bitch and moan about something, spread the word about something great, review a book or movie, talk about video games, talk about sports, talk about poker, or whatever. I gravely need a creative outlet of some sort, so hopefully this can provide that for me.
It’s nice to be back home.

Fun choice of picture for the About page. Eddie’s a professional poker player? I can’t even imagine how many guys wish that was their job.
Cute Overload is a regular link for for me too. There’s a video of alpacas on it and my little girl asks to watch it over and over.
